Victoria is the largest supply base for smallstock in Australia and this makes Gathercole’s the ideal business partner to source your lamb and mutton requirements. We have our own team of livestock buyers who travel throughout the countryside and interstate to source lambs from markets and farmers that will suit our business and maintain a competitive edge.

We tender our skins salted and classed on a weekly basis and ensure a competitive tender. This assists us to be more competitive in the livestock and wholesale meat markets. Skin companies offer many of our skins direct to overseas markets.
The volume of lamb processed at the plants where our product is slaughtered provides an exciting opportunity to export lamb offal’s and casings once the export accreditation is finalised in the coming months. We are working to develop these markets at present.
